Step Up Transformer Application

A transformer is a passive device, which does not provide energy, and its load capacity depends mainly on the driving power of the primary drive circuit. If the output resistance of the driving circuit is low and the output current is larger, the load capacity of the high frequency transformer is also stronger. Of course, the thickness of the wire in the transformer's own winding will also limit the maximum output power of the transformer. If the output of the transformer is too large, it may burn out the winding. However, when the load is increased, the voltage drop is severe, which is mainly due to the internal resistance of the primary drive circuit of the transformer. To this end, a primary power amplifier can be added at the front of the transformer to increase the power of the transformer.

The function of the transformer in the power system is to change the voltage to facilitate the transmission of power. When the voltage is increased by the set up transformer, the line loss can be reduced and the economy of the power supply can be improved to achieve the purpose of long-distance transmission. The set up transformer is a kind of transformer type, which has the function of voltage compensation, which is also referred to as the set up compensator. In fact, most transformers are divided into two types: set up transformer and step-down transformer. The two types of transformers are diametrically opposed in terms of voltage. The secondary coil of the set up transformer is more than the number of turns of the original coil, and the voltage grade is 220 V, 380 V, 400 V, 415 V, 480 V, 500 V, 515 V, 660 V, 690 V, 1140 V to 60 KV, etc. It adopts imported silicon steel sheet, high quality oxygen-free copper wire, which has the advantages of small volume and good quality. It is widely used in construction projects, where the line is too long to meet the needs of the voltage used, and the undervoltage compensation is applied in different occasions such as imported equipment matching and different grades of voltage abroad.
